Hi Hay! Labs are reputed to moult twice a year - from January 1st until June 30th, then from July 1st till December 31st! Seriously, labs
do moult a certain amount all year round with a couple of
really bad moults when they change from their winter to summer coats, and vice versa. They should really be brushed through every day, getting right down to the skin to make sure you get out any dead undercoat. Laminate floors are notoriously bad at showing all the shed hair which would otherwise stick to carpet and not be so noticeable. The only thing to do is keep on top of the daily grooming, and maybe turn your central heating down a bit so the dog doesn't get too hot.
