Took my dogs to exercise at fields near us, which our local consabulary also use for the police dogs.
Well a police guy drove in, and seeing me just getting out with the dogs, reversed to park further up.... and drove straight over two traffic cones left on the car parking area, much to my amusement. But it gets better..

So I'm walking my two little dogs and the guy has gone right away over to the adjacent field, when all of a sudden his GSD appears, and nicks my dogs tennis ball.  The chap is calling this dog, which is completely ignoring him, far too intent on trying to get me to throw the ball for him. A couple of minutes later a  policeman appears, somewhat out of breath, asking me to hold on to the dogs collar. Anyway it seems he had just got the dog, which was 14 months old, and was just discovering that his newly acquired trainee police dog has a complete fixation on tennis balls. To cap it all, he tells me that the dog is in training to be a firearms dog, but was scared stiff of the bangs on fireworks night!! Talk about having a bad day at the office

well he neednt worry about the bangs as i know plenty of good working gundogs who shoot weekly but hate fireworks......just hope no criminals throw a tennis ball instead of firing a gun!!! :)))
