I have an 11 week old Bichon Frise.  I also have an 20 month old Collie Cross.  Since we got our puppy 2 weeks ago she has been weeing in both her own and the other dogs bed.  I was under the impression that dogs did not soil their bedding.  We put newspaper down in the room where she sleeps and we try to keep her in her own bed but she does seem to like curling up with the other dog in his bed and he then gets up and moves away.  Does anyone have any advice?

hey this is about the same age difference as my dogs, you really must have your hands full. she is still very young and probably does not think of the beds as hers yet maybe so that could be why she is weeing in her bed.

Also lovely as they are Bichons are renowned for being difficult to house train, combine that with her being very young anyway and it isn't that surprising.  Remove the beds, just giving them some easily washed Vet bed for the time being.

yeah i would use some old towelling or something as a bed for now and use lots of newspaper.

The fleece blankets from Argos are great too - very easily washed and dried. :-)
