This is a real longshot but I wonder if anyone has any ideas..

A close friend of mine moved to Kenya a few months ago, she moved quite suddenly (very typical of her :rolleyes:) and I was away on holiday at the time. I had her new details copied on to the pc, aaannyway before I got round to writing her details down 'physically' my computer completely crashed and I lost everything. I'm guessing she will have lost mine in the move (again typical of her!) and I've no idea how I can trace her.. Anyone have any ideas??

Have you tried friends reunited?  If she is on there, you can send her an e mail.
Other options are facebook or bebo search.
Alternatively try googling her name and kenya.
Did she pay to have her mail forwarded, you could send a letter to her old address, or even ask the new owners if they have a forwarding address.
What about her old workmates - will any of them have a contact for her.
Mobile phone number -has she left a voicemail with new contact details?

failing all of these, your only other alternative is a nice long vacation trip to Kenya......

She hasn't worked a day for the last 30 years (she married a pilot - lady of leisure!) I tried friends re-united etc.. nothing. Haven't tried her old address (aka the mansion :D) so will do that, thanks for the suggestions!!
