I'M GOING TO GET MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been away to a posh hotel for the weekend and my partner of 8 years proposed on Friday night! I jumped in the shower and when I got out he was standing in the room, only one light on and the TV off and he was shaking with tears in his eyes. My first thought was something bad had happened and then he pulled a diamond ring from behind his back and asked me to marry him!!

On the bed in rose petals he had spelt out marry me and a big heart! I just couldn't believe it and still can't really! I'm over the moon and now got a wedding to plan together! He also packed a bottle of champagne which we opened and we rang all our family and friend who are all sooooooo exicted (my mum especially as I'm an only child!)

The next day our parents had some strawberries, chocolates and champagne delivered to our room and my Auntie & Uncle sent a huge bouquet of flowers!

We arrived home today and our front door is covered with banners and even our shed has banners on it saying 'happy engagement' and 2 little teddies sitting in front of the shed too! Bless! (All my Mum & Dads doing!)

Got to go to work tomorrow which seems a shame but can't wait to show everyone the ring! No getting me down for a few weeks thats for sure!

We are thinking spring/summer 2009!! Going to wait to the new year and then sort the venue first.

So much to think about, so much to do, but can't wait. 2009 will soon be here too, this year has flown by!
