Topic Dog Boards / Health / Dilemma, What should I do for the best

Milo my 2yr old JRT, was sick last night a couple of times just before bed, this morning his poo is covered in mucous and on a little trip round the block this morning (just so he felt he had been out) he done two poos one within a minute of the other but I couldn't see if they were loose or mucous covered as it was dark and he went in undergrowth, but he did scrape his bottom on the ground each time as he finished.
Now really I should perhaps starve him till tonight to see how he goes and give his stomach a chance to settle but he has to be fed every day 4-5 times as he gets an acidy tummy that makes him sick.
So what should I do just give him a small amount to keep the acid at bay or starve him completely and have him being sick through the acid as well?

I'm sure the experienced lot will wake up soon but until then - I give scrambled egg to mine when they get a gippy tummy.

Edited to add, my golden retriever would get a couple eggs so one egg split over a couple servings may keep your little boy's tummy feeling OK.

Sorry should have explained my little lad has a lot of food sensitivitys and scrambled egg makes him very sick, he cannot even eat marrow from a marrow bone, he gets anemic on dried foods as for some reason his body does not tolerate or absorb them.  The only thing he can have is nature diet sensitive gold and I do wonder if this upset tum has come because I tried him with a little Nature diet original flavour yesterday.
I have now given him a little of his normal food for breakfast with some probiotic mixed in

I know this sounds wrong but to get rid of mucus pooh, put a spoon full of bran in the meals it really works, or alternatively a spoon of pumpkin both do really work
