Molly was spayed on Thursday & not allowed out on walks or no straining herself until her stitches are taken out. I tried a sneeky walk with her yesterday morning, but she saw her doggy friend & got far too excited, so no more sneeky walks. Molly usually busys herself on the front window sill watching the world go by, but I've had to barricade it as the window sill is too high for her to jump on at the moment.
So one very bored doggy...any suggestions.

Our dog was neutered last Friday and we were told he could have walks on a lead until the stitches come out - tomorrow thank goodness

I actually let him off lead today when we got to one of the fields as figured he does loony playing at home with our other dog so a sedate:rolleyes: walk in the field would probably be less adventurous for him than out in the garden at home :)

Fizz (BC) was spayed just over a month ago now and apart from the first day I did take her on controlled lead walks at least twice a day as i don't think I would have been able to live with her otherwise. However why not try a filled kong or a marrow bone to keep molly occupied for awhile.
Best Wishes

We lasted one day after our girl was spayed before we had to go out for a walk.Thankfully she steadied herself and didnt do much,if any, running or jumping around.
Can you put a ramp or something up to the window so she doesnt have to jump?Giving her a big meaty bone should keep her occupied for a while.Or else just take her out later in the evening when you know no dogs will be around to send her off.

I have continued as normal but just kept them on lead for walks. Have had 5 bitches spayed so far.
The vet has found the problem to a bored fidgety dog....she has a false pregnancy. The vet said her hormones are every where, but she is 'drying up' ok. Meaty bone was in order today, but still not allowed to go out as she gets too excited when she sees other dogs. Molly is eating for England too....usually a very picky, small eater. Roll on next Monday when the stiches come out!!!
