Hi - I would like the classification for special junior dog, not junior, but special j.  I believe it says the age is 6 months to something like 20 months instead of the usual 18?

I believe all the Crufts age-restricted classes are 'Special' whatever, starting a couple of months later than the usual dates because of the need for qualification, ie 'Special puppy' (the only puppy class) would be 8 to 14 months, etc.

exactly.  But the last two years, 2007 & 2008, the classification has been 6-18 months, therefor not 'special'  at all , for the j class, but SP remaining 8-14 months.  The KC says that I must produce proof that it has ever been  as it was in 2006 as they had no copy to hand of the 2006 schedule 'to hand' !!!!

The entry rules for 2009 say that dogs under 8 months of age are not eligible for entry.
