Hi all,

Ive been searching online for details on the criteria to apply to be on a C list. Cannot find anything that really tells me much, b lists and a lists there is plenty on.I have been offered 2 judging appointments next year of 5 classes at each show and i just wondered if i should look at applying to be on the C List. Ive attended a seminar and done a bit of stewarding, but now i have been offered these appointments i plan on getting a bit more involved. The breed is stud band E so i've been told im ok to do 5 classes without being on any breed lists.
Any help appreciated.

Yes you can judge 5 classes of a band E breed without being on any lists.  Each individual breed club has their own criteria for getting onto their judges lists so you'll have to contact the relevant breed club/s.

Agree, from the point of view of getting onto a list you need to ask the breed club secretary, most require that you have attended a seminar and shown interest in the breed if you are already a judge of a different breed or if it is your breed have owned and shown for a specified number of years.

As far as what you can judge in E band it is 5 classes but in most breeds it is 3, however you can judge 3 classes without being on any list if you can persuade the show society to engage you.

Just looked in the little Red book and you can judge 5 classes of band E without being on any list.
