I can not believe what I have done today !!!  And please don't laugh at me!

Remembered today that Windsor closes so have just eaten lunch and gone to enter and it closed at mid-day today - I can not believe it - thought most shows close at midnight not mid-day.  I wish I was more organised sometimes - I swear with age I am getting worse!

Its one of my favorite shows too :(  What a numpty I feel!!!

Oh well - saves me my entry fee I suppose!!!!

sadly not nova as postal entries closed 12th May so think it would be chucked straight back - so gutted as Terri said it is localish and my fave!  Feel a real idiot!

I did this for a show earlier this year and everyone went mad with me in the breed seeing as I was the original importer and wasn't going to be at the first show that we were off the import register.

I faxed them the same day as it closed explaining the situation and they opened up the entry for me so that I could enter there and then!  It did used to close at midnight but recently they've changed it to mid-day!

Have heard that it is always worth a try, posting late is sometimes accepted and if not you are no worse off.

Hi had same problem with Blackpool, I too thought it midnight they were very very helpful and took it over the phone, it was about 3 in the afternoon when I did it!! the girl on the phone said they were getting loads and loads of people confused since changing it to noon instead of midnight, so always worth a call.

I got away with it yesterday phoning at 2.45pm - when it closed at noon?  Worth a try - you never know do you!  I spoke to a lovely lady - will pm you her name and number just in case different.  Good luck!

Its fosse that close at midnight and Higham since LKA apparently at noon!  Just to confuse us numpties hey!

My friend did the same thing with bath and missed the entry online so she sent it in the post anyway just in case they accepted it, and lo and behold she got her passes last week, so it might be worth just posting it. you never know!

It's always worth posting!  As one champ show sec told us...It's always worth the cost of a 1st class stamp!

Gosh that surprises me with a champ show - they are usually v. rigid with the postal entries I heard!  Certainly a couple of years ago I was about a week late and they returned to me!  I know a friend was late with Birmingham National too and they returned her postal entry back - guess it must depend on the society!

I always knew the open shows are more lenient but didnt' think the champ shows they were so!  Always worth a try - nothing ventued nothing gained and all that :)

i think it sometimes depends on the entries they have alreayd got and how organised the secretary is with sending stuff to the printers.  If it's not already sent to them then it can go on the pile!

Also it depends if you back dated you entry form and cheque.  If you forgot to do that they can't accept it.

You are probably right Roxanne - if not gone to the printers yet then you would stand more chance and if the online has only just closed then presumably it hasn't so worth a chance!

Glad you managed to get your entry in, can't begin to list the number of shows that I've missed the entry of, & the one's I've entered I can't go to bloomin' typical :-(

Am going on the Sunday (well hopefully that's utility day anyway as I'll look a bit silly will a TT on the wrong day, oops that's been done before & that was a looooong drive to Paignton).  My dh doesn't have a choice as it's me b'day & it's my party & I'll do what I want to ;-)

I've got into champ shows a day or two late with postal entries but hadn't thought it worthwhile this late. Last I heard they hadn't got an answer on the phone so had sent an email - I will suggest they try a postal entry.
