Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Southend on Sea 17th May - ring order
- By bertbeagle [gb] Date 16.05.08 12:43 UTC
Hi,

Does anybody know the ring orders for the above, have checked DW and the schedule but can't find anything. Don't really want to bother Sec as I'm sure they are very busy.

Thanks :)

no idea, were in avnsc and so will probally be first in (we was last year) so were getting there early ive also got my friend and her parents coming to watch as they have just got a puppy and want to see what goes on at the shows so they have half a idea when they start with their little boy.

Good luck for tomorrow.

How did everybody do?, chas got 1st av working grad and the judge told me after only reason he didnt get best av working was his movement was a bit off he was chucking his back out a little but i think this was because when my daughter run him she had a bit of sausage in her hand and he was running  abit close to her and looking up at her which threw him out a little but he wdone well considering its been well over 4 months since his last show

Last place in breed, but the judge was very nice, I had to ask her about something unrelated after and I could see what the problem was by what she was placing, so just said 'Ellie's too big for you I assume?' and she agreed. :-) Then had a 3 hour wait for handling and AV Toy, which were then run at the same time, so had to explain to both stewards, do the AV Open class which I unexpectedly won, rush across to be last dog in Handling which I somehow came 3rd in in spite of nearly doing a reverse triangle instead of a triangle (don't know how that happened!), didn't even have the chance to thank the judge because they'd been holding the AV challenge for me all this time, so shot back in and was thrilled to get Best AV Toy! Busy day!! :-)

ps went to little fun show today and got 1st in basic obedience too - versatile girl my Ellie!

Well done everyone.

I had a super day with my girl getting BOB from open and shortlisted to final 12 for BIS (very pleased) :)! And the icing on the cake was my new young lad who I haven't had very long and can be difficult to handle won a class gaining another jw point so well chuffed with that. It was really nice show with lovely rosette's and a good venue one I had never been to before, not the best ground if you have a sniffy beagle! lol.

Towerlands seems to be a very lucky venue for us. We got Best in Show two years ago, Reserve Best in Show last year, and Best In Show again yesterday! We were really pleased and had a lovely day out!
