Took my 12 month Affenpinscher to WELKS-he has been getting placed at the end of the line since Manchester but yesterday he got his first first-delighted I am-not only that his litter sister-who has been winning quite some -also got a first.

I bred this litter, my first litter that has been in the show ring-only bred three litters in ten years !!!!!

He was such a good boy stormed round the ring like he owned it-daft, I know, but I am a proud Mummy.

Hope all that entered had a super day.

Well done Spout, sometimes you just have to wait a bit for things to come together.

Jozi won the champion stakes at Windsor after only managing a fourth in the breed, and came back the next day to win overall, different judge and different competition.

I know of someone who won a group under a judge and went onto BIS or RBIS at a champ show, but did not win the breed when the same judge judged the breed a few shows later.
