I'm wondering where I can get information about what dog shows are taking place in Tayside over the coming months.  I think there is usually one in Perth in April/May time and one at Camperdown in June but can't find any information on them.  Does anyone here have the info?

So sh.e is!  Just a wee dander round the road.  I met a doggy colleague today who told me that the one in Perth (at the dewar centre not the agriculture centre) is on Sunday and the one at Camperdown is on 27th or 28th June (whichever is the Saturday).  thanks for the links

Why don't you join the SKC  you then get a show diary for 13 months, it has all the open shows in Scotland and all the champshows UK wide.

Hi Sarah, how did you get on today?  did you have a red staffy?  I saw there was only 4 in the class but I wasn't beside the ring when the staffs went in and couldn't deduce from where I was which one (if any) was you.

As predicted we were last (again).  She was the dark brindle bitch who's tail didn't stop wagging the whole time in the ring!!  As I said, not the best, but she loves showing!!

Aaw bless.  There were some lovely dogs there although I didn't get there until after 10am and missed the class I wanted to see.  I met my first real spanish water dog - what a cutie and was sat on by the most adorable leo I have ever met.

Sounds like you had a good day then!  The best show for seeing heaps of Staffs. is Dundee at Camperdown on the 28th of June.  We've got 10 classes!!!

I live very close to Camperdown park so usually just walk down there but regret it every year as I struggle up the road with a dog and armfuls of stuff I have bought.  Another bed/bone/toy/lead for the dog anyone...
