Hi Everyone,

Next weekend im going to the friends of the strays of greece companion show / doggy fun day and they have a sporting and non sporting class (which am i with a newfoundland.?)
i thought sporting but the other half says not.
also handsome dog, best tail etc. plus mini agailty tombowler refreshments etc.
its at wimbourne (burt's lane) on the 13th if anyone is interested as its a good cause.

Newfies are non-sporting.  Sporting is Hounds, Gundogs and Terriers.

Newfies are great working dogs.We have one on the North Cornwall coast that works with the life guards and has actually saved lives.

yes they are great working dogs.
mine do water training but not to that extent.
More for fun than reward, also its really good execise for them as its non weight bearing.
the older two also do carting.
we belong to a leo carting group and i belive we are doing a demo at this event next sunday as well as entering the fun dog show.
My dogs have a better social life than i do!!!
