Of Kelda and my OH also...

First ever show for BOTH of them, as ive got a knackered back...

We only really went to get her used to it, as shes only just turned 6 months last week, but...

!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D Really nice rossies too, not that Kel cares  she just liked all the treats and meeting other deerhoundies etc (she was somewhat confused at the Chinese crested she met, with its pink tracksuit on..).

I am so pleased with how they both coped, OH has never been to even a fun dog show before and neither has Kelda, and they both took it in their stride.. though Kelda lay down and snored more.. great day :D well beyond my expectations!

WOW WELL DONE!!  Look forward to seeing you at the show next week now!

*big grin* Definately and looking forwards to next week now - I am so impressed how she took to it, just flipped out a bit about the judge going in her gob in the group puppy class but she was knackered by then and he wasnt as gentle as the previous judge.

I havent even been able to get to a ring craft so today really was for practice, at home we have just been trotting her up and down the street and getting friends to go over her etc, so all the credit goes to her, she is a little star (and sooooooo tiny compared to the others there who were all a fair bit older, and shes never met dogs bigger than her since she left her litter, she was very taken wtih a borzoi boy too hehe!)

Have also to say, though i dont think anyone is on here, all the people we spoke to and went 'argh what do we do now' were extremely helpful and kind so thanks to them for making our first showing experience a great one!
