I recently got asked to become the secretary for our ringcraft!!

But... what exactly does it entail.... i got a little bit of info last week, but is it very time consuming?

I am only 19 lol!!

Hi Emma

Congrats on your appointment.

It really is a very responsible position the degree really depends on the activities of your specific club.  If you hold shows then the workload can be quite a lot.

Hopefully you have a strong and experienced committee to help you and steer you in the right direction.

The KC have a folder for registered societies which as a new secretary you should recieve a copy of.  This has loads of helpful information in.

Hope it all go's well and don't be too worried.

I thought it might be but the people on my committee are really good and would be able to help me lots etc...

I have been going since i was about 6 years old haha so hopefully that experience might come in handy

Will just have to wait and see...might not yet, have to see what responsibility i have etc
