Hi i am new to this forum, i think i posted last message to wrong place oops!
I have two labradors, a male aged5 who's neutered. he's very laid back gets on with everyone and everything. Our female who is 3years and spade.
When she was a lot younger, she was attack by two different dogs on different occassions. she had  issues with dogs, we have managed to work through her issues, she goes to classes and has even  doggy friends and has come on loads.
We are hoping to get a male Vizsla puppy later this year from a good breeder, we have done are research. We hope to have ago at showing but he will be mainly a pet.
Was just wondering if anyone could give me advice or tips?
Will 2 males be good together?

Thanks Hayley

Hi Hayley,

There is no good reason why you should not have a harmonious household with two males - TBH, the likeliest issues of them not getting on having already been covered as
(a) your resident lad is a fully mature 5 yrs with what sounds like a super character,
(b) he's castrated so wont have testosterone flare-ups which may send the wrong signals to a cocky Young Pretender,
(c) your bitch is spayed hence no seasons for either male to become distressed over and
(d) importantly! you're clearly a good manager of your dogs having proven that already by being able to work through your girl's issues :)

I shouldn't imagine you will have any problems at all and would just like to add "Welcome to the forum" :)

best wishes, Teri

Please do - there's nothing we enjoy more on here than cooing over new additions and it's a great place to get timely reminders of house training tips etc (amazing how easy it is to forget the frustrations LOL)

regards, Teri

Hi
Are your Males neutered?

Thanks Hayley
