Hi All,
Here's one for you.
If a puppy was born on the 26th December which is the date that i can start to show it, is it 6 months old on the 26th May or 26th June?
I have tried to work this out but im having a brian freeze!!!!
Also does getting a 1st,2nd,or 3rd in minor puppy get you to crufts(2009).
The dog i am about to buy was born on Boxing Day i think the 1st Champ show after 6 months would be Windor on the 26th June for working day this year. Am i correct?
Sorry if this goes on a bit but i have only been showing for 8 months and its still all new to me.
I have never shown a puppy as the only champ shows we did my boy was in junior.

6 months on 26th June!
I'm dreadful at dates too - get myself in a real pickle.
Fairly sure in all breeds that a 1st, 2nd, 3rd is crufts qualifier in minor puppy :)

They have to be 6 months old on the first day of the show, so if working breeds are on the first day then you are okay.

wow that was a quick reply have only just got back from walkies!!

I think I am right in saying it has to be a Champ show where to puppy wins 1st, 2nd or 3rd to qualify for Crufts?

Sorry to push in here but if a pup gets best minor puppy do they actually go through to best puppy in breed ? or onto best puppy in show .?
I am not sure that there is a best minor puppy in show .

It should challenge the other unbeaten puppies for Best puppy in breed.
