I was told my KC reg. dog also needs to be registered separately in order to compete in obedience. I was told he needs to get "Working" papers.

Is this the case? I thought the breed reg papers also covered obedience competition as well as breed ring. I know I need to get special reg for my mongrel to compete in Obed....but not my already KC reg dog....

Please advise as I am hoping to enter into some competitions over the next while and if I have to get a whole new set of papers I better hop to it...

If your dogs are pedigree & KC registered they do not need to go on the Activities Register as this is for dogs that are from unreg parents or parents who are on the activites register themselves
