I would like a recommendation for a good grooming box/case. It is going to be a Christmas present.

Can't reccommend a good one, but I would definatley say DO NOT get one from Dezynadog.  I had one for a christmas pressie last year and on the 4th show of using, the lock and catch broke off.  When I contacted them, Dezynadog were not interested in the slightest, saying they were robust and rigorously tested and no one had complained before.  I offerred to take it to a show to let them see it,but they said no point in taking it back as they had not come accross this problem before so it must have been misused.  I used to by all of my grooming equipment form Dezynadog, but they have now lost my custom and  many of my fellow exhibitors.

i bought a good one from B&Q its a silver case with a lock and it has lots of little sections-handy for brushes etc and i only paid about £15 much cheaper than a grooming box. Looks smart too!
I wish people would buy me pratical pressies like that instead of pj's, slippers, smellies and choc...................................doggie pressies please x

I brought my grooming tools to ringcraft one night and got comments on how great my scissor case was. It was a computer tool case I used for work; just took the screwdrivers out and put the thinning shears in :)

I dont know how handy you are, but I have made one.  I dont need a lot of tools, having short coated smooth breeds, but I thought it worked out just nice.

I have the lid with hoops on it (on the inside) for leashes, and compartments on the bottom for sprays and such.

It doesnt have to be fancy, but you could even get a nice picture of the breed, and paint it on, or decupodge (? dont know if I spelt it right) it on before sealing it with varnish.

I tend to make things though, since I am very crafty, and handy.  I am the type of person that would do something like that, especially if I couldnt find something I really liked that was manufactured elsewhere.

lol it was worth a thought.  most of my ideas come when I am bored (at home a lot with knee problems).  So I have lots of time to practise, and only good things I did get shown lol.

(clears out closet of bad works of "art")

For keeping my basic tools in I use a medium toolbox with a lift-out tray from B&Q (plastic, so easily cleaned) cost about £10 :)   For going to shows I use a soft toiletries bag (@ £4) about 12" x 4" x 4"  the whole thing unzips with a double zip so I can see everything :)

I've also got the ultimate luxury of a clipper case which is foam-lined (covered in flock) and has compartments for each set of blades   it cost about £2.99 from a local market.  Even if I drop the case my blades are totally safe

Sounds nice Dill. In the end I followed Joby's advice and went to B&Q. Well pleased. Thanks every one. O, by the way, reference the problem with the Les Pooches website. Finally I went to a welll known grooming supplier and lo and behold, they were selling the very brushes I wanted .
