anyone who went to birmingham might want to watch 'horse and country' on sky 280 at 11.00pm. got an hour coverage, apparently its doing hounds and terriers. no idea when other groups are/were on tho.

Got it wrong on first post, they did hounds and toys. At the end they said about next 'episode' being working, terrier and pastoral groups but I CANNOT see when it is being shown:confused:

Just checked to set sky+ to record it and it now says Birmingham dog show
is on Saturday at 6am and again at 8.30pm. Something else on now at 11pm instead.

Hi there

I saw this last night, been on all day today too, think theyll keep repeating it, only hounds and toys were shown focusing on the group stakes. Hoping they may show the gundogs but doesnt look like it.
Nice to see on tv though except the presenter kept muddling all the breeds up saying the Irish wolfhound was a Deerhound etc....
Good plug for Doglost on there also!
Be nice if they started to film some of the shows

It says Saturday Morning 6am " highlights from all 3 days of the 2007 Birmingham dog show ".

Dont know if it will be the same as they have already been showing?

Just checked on the H&C site the Third Day (Gundogs) will be shown on Wednesday 17th at 11.00pm.  This is providing they don't change their schedules.  Channel 280 on Sky

Cheers

Well its never been advertised as being shown at this time but I have watched it for the last two weeks on Sky 280 at 9.00pm Tuesday evenings - hoping that it will be next Tuesday again too as a great time for me to watch it - just after Holby on BBC1 -

They show the puppy and junior stakes classes.

HI - when I looked a couple of weeks ago after seeing the first one didn't detail as showing on the Tuesday and couldn't find it on the sky programme planner - maybe they updated it?
- By satincollie (Moderator) Date 13.10.07 09:57 UTC
I think they have possible due to the feedback they have recieved as I must admit I had looked more than once and only found it from midweek this week.

Hi

Has anyone managed to see the third day of this show which was gundogs?

Wendy
- By rachelsetters Date 19.10.07 09:08 UTC
No - wasn't on Tuesday at 9pm in the end - think Horse and Country like to keep us guessing - doesn't matter what there schedule says just put it on when we least expect it!
- By kodie [gb] Date 19.10.07 13:41 UTC
The 3rd Day is showing on Saturday 20th October at 8.30pm.

Have taped this programme.  Yes they showed stakes classes, all of 'em by looks of things.  They showed most of the line up for utility & showed all but the SPANISH WATER DOG (doing it's lap of honour) in the Gundog Group

Wasn't a bad programme but I must admit I ff most of it & haven't watched it properly yet.
- By WendyWoo [gb] Date 25.10.07 15:09 UTC
Yes I saw it too, my dog won the the best puppy dog stakes on Gundog & Utility day.  So I saw myself on TV.  Hopefully someone I know has taped it for me.
