Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Entering In Joint Names
- By Rupertbear [gb] Date 29.08.07 11:23 UTC
Hello All

I am just about to enter my new puppy for his first show and realised I have registered him with the KC in joint names with my partner, my other dogs are just in my name.
Does this mean I have to enter on two different entry forms now?  And what about entering on line, I have to set up two accounts? IF so Im sorry I have done it now as its just more faffing about.
Would it matter if I just put him down in my name and left my other halfs off?  Who would know??

Bit confused:confused:

You " could " have any award removed for not disclosing the truth.

It would be far easier transferring from joint names into yours only. It would only cost £12 and save any future hassle.

If you have to enter a a show in the mean time till the transfer comes through use TAF on the form.

Yes you do have to use two entry forms and also make another account online.

Yep seperate entry forms and seperate online accounts, as I own a dog jointly and do his entries.

Although it's two entry forms and two accounts online it's not that difficult.  My mum has to enter online twice when both myself and my brother want to go into the handling as you can only enter one handling class per an entry "form"

If you would like a spare entry form I have one my Dad made on the PC when we were shoing a dog we had in patnership.  When doing paper entrie you can still get them put on the same cheque etc.

This has made me think...My Hubby and I own all our dogs jointly but I have only ever put them on one entry form and both of us sign it. I fill in the details as Mr and Mrs and no one has ever commented on it. Am I doing it wrong?
Opps doozy mare that I am of course I only need one form....ALL the dogs are in partnership so they can all go on one form
Sorry head is obviously not working properly today
