Does anyone remember me asking what class to put Molly (4.5 yr old Lab) in for an Open Show? .....................

......................Well today we went to Salisbury & South Wilts Canine Soc Open Show,

Izzy came 1st in Labrador Retriever Junior so has now won her way out of Maiden 

And Molly....................came 2nd in Labrador Retriever Open Bitch (6 in her class)   I'm so very proud of her, Molly has never been shown before and at 4.5 years, is a late starter..........

congratulations!!!! You must be chuffed to bits. It just shows that it is never too late to start with your girl! I hope you are going to enter her in a few more now. Did she enjoy herself?
I was there today with Arnie ( GSP) . Thought it might be a bit soon after coming out of kennels for him which it was. He was 2nd in his class today, but behind another nice boy so not too worried. It was great, the leisure centre pool there lets children under 16 in for free so my daughters  managed to get a swim in as well. Makes for a nice day out.

i was also there, was nt it hot? we had a problem with comunication with the show stuward and our judge (she was not told we had moved rings) scheduled for 2.30, in ring at 3.30. Had a nice day and come home with a nice red rossette.

Yes Barbara, it did :D ...........she only tried sitting 3 times when I "stood" her :D

She is entered in 3 more open shows up until mid October, so if she still gets placed, I'll enter her in a few more, she enjoyed her day out :)
