Hello all! I wondered where I would find the critiques for the Open Show at Ardingly yesterday.
Will it be in the dog papers?

We did quite well - only St Bernard there so we got the 1st, Best Puppy and Best of Breed.
Decided to take her in for Working Puppy and she came 2nd out of 8 pups!
I was sooo happy cos its the first time we havnt come last at a show! :)
I just want to see what the judge wrote about my beautiful girl.
well done Karlai,
yep they will be in the dog papers, but be prepaired for wait they can take weeks to appear

Try months. The critiques for championship shows tned to take prescendence. This is assumign teh judge writes a critique.

Ahh but if you e-mail nicely to the judge when they've forgotten to do your dogs critique but everyone elses you get a wonderful e-mail back and then a comment in your breed notes :d :d
Months? wow! i am sure she was taking notes as she was writing something on her pad! Wait and see i guess.
Yep we are still waiting (given up?) for our critique for the Worthing show in Feb
I was also at Kingston, at Ardingly last Sunday.
Lovely sunny dry day and able to park quite close to ring.
My Pharaoh bitch won best N.S.C. Hound + hound group 4
and my Greyhound pup won best puppy in breed + hound puppy group 3
So I had a great day!
I look forward to seeing critiques in print in dog papers.
Pam
i have also given up on a couple, somethimes i wonder if this is part of the reason open show entries are dropping?

Hi my dad Steve took photos at the show Dog world will hold all write ups untill they have all the photos and ads from that show then they all go in together Stephanie
Anyone seen any critiques or pics yet?
I am waiting to see what the judge said about my holly...

Nope still waiting...

YAY! I GOT OUR FIRST CRITIQUE TODAY! :) :D
Many thanks to jan Lefevre!
it says...' what a lovely baby! clearly marked throughout, wagged her tail throughout. Promising head, dark eye, excellent mouth, good bone well ribbed body. on the move there was no doubt what breed she is. Absolutely typical. Needs to tighten up somewhat but she is very promising indeed'
:D
