Still hasen't quite sunk in yet but yesterday at Bournemouth my Folly won the RBCC! As you can imagine I am on cloud nine and what a feeling, I have been showing for about 16 months now and Folly is 22 months old. Totally unexpected and I don't think I can put in to words how I feel, very very proud of my girl.

Brilliant news and huge congratulations to you and Folly.
Miss seeing you down here :( So glad folly is doing so well. Ziggi hasn't been to any shows for a long time but took her to Chertsey Show and just entered her in the gundog class which she won!!! It was a total shock and that is just a companion show so I can't begin to think how you are feeling at the mo. Not long til that CC now!

I have my own second hand brag.  My Jozi's pup from her last litter Barbelka Lila in Ireland went to her first show on 5th August AT DUN LAOGHAIRE International show in Ireland she was BPIB, Best puppy in Group (Group 5 Spitz and primitive types) and what it doesn't show on the website ( http://www.showdogsireland.com/ShowDetailFCI.asp?SID=803 ) is that she was Reserve Best Puppy in show. :D

The same owner has been doing well with her maternal half brother who is just over two, and his puppy son.

I got my closest to a CC ever at bournmouth by winning RBB with single tickets on offer.  I first went in the ring at the age of 3, seriously competeing in handling by 7 and showing in the breed by 8 (altough was younger when I was running my nan's dogs as she was finding it hard to run them)  Now, aged 19 I get the closest ever but still no acctual CC or RCC!

I got my first CC in 2001 with my third homebred generation after owning the breed since 1992, and after showing my first dog in 1989.
