Recently spent an excellent Sunday in the presence of Mrs Christina Chapman "Please call me Christina and not Mrs Chapman. Mrs Chapman was the mother-in-law and you don't want to meet her!" VBG

Christina did her Conformation and Movement seminar and it was very good, well worth the money and I am sure that we all learned a lot about the structure of a dog and how the skeleton and musculature works together with specific variances for breed types (look up lundehund's for a unique breed type)PLUS after lunch we a little bit of aerobics thrown in for good measure :D.

I suppose what I am saying is that it is well worth going to even if you think you know everything  and/or have no intention of going on to judge. I did disagree with a very minor point but it was specific to my breed, whippets, and very few people would realise her error (even >99% of the owners/judges/exhibitors of whippets would know).

What I would like to know, if anyone has the info, is Christina doing a Rules And Regs seminar anywhere (preferably in the Midlands) as I would like to hear her on this topic too?

I did the conformation and movement seminar last year with her. Absolutely brilliant :D Would definately recommend a day in her classes. She teaches in such a way that you remember most of what she says. (No-one will remember everything ;) )

And if it were not for those of us who show their dogs, seminars of this sort, which teach us so much, would be non-existant! ;)

She is a wonderful speaker in general I have been told.  I have been to her conformation and movment seminar in the past but my Parents have had lunch with her at shows and the stories she tells are just wonderful.  Such a lovely lady with a great sence of humor.

She's brilliant when applying to any breed aswell.  VERY knowledgable.

She gave a talk at one of our breed events (before these movement qand conformation seminars) and is a very witty speaker.
