Just have to shout about it!  Had one of our club shows yesterday, lovely venue and the weather was lovely so had a nice day outside (although Busy!)  Dad's the show manager and Mum was taking the photos with my Brother off at another show showing for our grandparents I was left to show, look after, groom etc our own dogs (Be groomer, handler, kennel maid and general dogs body all at one time! :D )  However our Veteran Bitch came 2nd behind a Champion.  Our Limit bitch was a star, showed lovely and felt amazing and came 2nd out of a large and strong class.  Our youngest was in Yearling and won her class and was considerd for the RBB with judge just saying she didn't have the room to move on the day (although this was a large ring!) She was also looking abit immature with only being 20 months and having just lost her coat!

However the highlight to the day for me was with someone elses puppy.  An 11 month old pet who now and again comes to our ringcraft after being advised to see us from their obeidence class to see a breed specilist.  It was his first show and was booked in after we convinced the owner to give it a go and the family liked the idea of seeing other red and whites and also have said they like the breed and want to support the clubs.  ANYWAY....after his owner chickening out I took him in the ring and he got BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!!!!  Needless to say his owners were over the moon and couldn't believe that he won his class, let alone BPIS!

This puppy also gave faith to other people after in the dog  challenge he had enough and proceded to not want to stand and roll on his back and just flop so I couldn't pick him back up to his feet.  A couple of people told my Dad they were pleased to witness that as if a dog does it for me they don't mind showing their mis behaving dogs!

Nice weather, good results, a day with lots of friendly people....What more does anyone need at a show?

Oh and to top it all someone had donated a prize for lucky dip NFC where all the dogs enterd NFC were put into a hat and our Arnie won! :D  So he got a nice doggy gift set!  We joked it's the best thing his won in his life!!!!!
