I'm getting a refund for Dorset County, but I'm apparently getting a credit note

for use next year.................is this fair? What if I don't want/can't enter next year? Shouldn't we get a cheque refund?

they are asking the judges that were judging on sunday to judge next year which i said yes.

There is a rumor that Bournemouth may be moving to Newbury like South Wales did but nothing is confirmed at present.
Kate
That would be great for me!!! (she says selfishly!) 40 mins drive instead of 2 hrs+!!

Ooh, much as I love Bournemouth in the New Forest, Newbury would be great for me too.
These poor comittees though, what a nightmare.
M.
New Park has the New forest Show on at the moment and its extremely muddy - everyone needing wellies. Due to rain here today, thurs and friday so unless we get some good dry days ahead it will be pretty miserable there for the dog show.
i would rather it stayed in Brock as walking distance for me!
My husband has just informed that there is a huge guide gathering on the ground next week as its a 10th anniversary(???), so the ground wont get much rest.
I was at the New Forest show yesterday - definitely wellies needed! It was a lovely sunny day, but the mud!!!! Forecast rain for today and tomorrow. It's going to need a long dry spell to clear it. :(

That would suit me nicely too as I'm in north London! :-D
If at Newbury,
Fab that means I can go and get some more stuff for my expected litter...

Although what a headache for all those societies having to either cancel show
or move to another venue.

Well I've just been told that Newbury is under water

Anyone heard any different?
Dunnooo - the field opposite us (work) is completely flooded by the River Thames.
Newbury did suffer in the flash floods, the roads underneath on the bypass nr showground were flooded
but I haven't been anywhere near there.

Hmmm, I was thinking the same thing, but to be honest, i'd rather it was relocated than cancelled all together, having just had an open show cancelled for sunday :( it doesn't sound like the ground is going to get much rest, but I did hear that NF Show may end today due to the heavy rain forcasted

it be good for me to at newbury
have you all look at fossdata to about natgundog show.
that be good as well if that at newbury,
45min for me.
Maybe we could generate a petition that suggests ALL Champ dog shows be held at Newbury!!! LOL

My husband always jokes that shows are never held in the local area anymore ie. Now that Manchester is held at Stafford etc etc
I just had a phone call from Dorset County secretary.
Shame I won't be able to show my Pharaoh & my Greyhound pup.
I wonder what the conditions are like at Stafford - thinking of the Houndshow next Saturday 4th August.
