Well how's everyone done?

Raider won the Dog RCC in Norwegian Elkhounds, his eighth and second this year.
The ground was absolutely fine, and we were really impressed with the facilities, especially for saying they hadn't had long to get everything ready. You would hardly have known that here had been an emergency change of venue. This was the first time in years that we have come so far south for a show (the golden rule these days is that we stop at Coventry!), and we would certainly come again if we had tickets at this showground.
Very well done to the Committee.

Have to agree the atmosphere was the usual relaxed SWKA once with plenty of variety classes, Which we got into this time.

The Southern Counties show at this venue is excellent too.

SWKA avoid the problem of the entrance quagmire by having exhibitors parked close to the tent they were benched in, really excellent idea.  Passes were only checked on the way out.

The only bit of wet ground I encountered yesterday was the entrance to the pre judging ring for the puppy group (Gideon found it and insisted on lying on it  ).  Apart from that it was fine - the breed was even judged outside in a lovely big ring :d

Well done Vanhalla!!

Oooh, maybe I'll go that far south next year as we'll be able to enter the variety classes :d

No results again for the gundog import register classes:rolleyes:  I've sent them an e-mail so I suppose they'll send them to me on Monday.  Like most things in the show world the import register is the last thought again.

there are no results for the variety classes either. My Arnie was placed second in special beginners stakes class (very proud mum!!!!) and I wanted to find out the number of the yankee that won. very frustrating. However, the actual show was lovely. i was parked right next to my bench and the ground was generally very good. Very spacious.
