Been trying to enter this show for the last 1 1/2 hours and keep getting a timed out/busy server/experiencing techinical difficulties message

Yes I know I should have done it before, but completely forgot until today and OH was away all day with the CC :( :( :(

Sob! the only show that we get cc's with in a realistic travelling time - and we won't be going SOB!

Same here.  Been trying to enter since 22.00hrs with no luck
Maybe they will extend the closing date as they have done for other
shows.  It seems to be a problem at Higham's end.

I can't say I'm impressed with them at all, ever since they altered their website to the new flashy looking one I've had problems entering online - and I don't usually leave it this late, I usually do it with weeks to spare, but still the same probs, thought it was my computer, but not any more    This is just a farce :( :(  The whole point of doing it online is to be able to do it last minute if you have to :(

What i have done is email higham so they have a time and date on my email that confirms i have tried to enter,the site is
on major go slow then freezes.
Its happened the last 3 shows and they have had to extend the closing date.

I have also e-mailed Higham, like you - so they have the date and time.
Modern technology is so wonderful!!!!

Have pointed out that this has happened before to me and am very disappointed with the site :(

The site doesn't even get going :(  just keeps timing out/server broken type message :(   Really fed up :( 

I did mine and our partnerships just after 8am this monring, no problems at all.  £5 for second entries, they can't be serious!!!!

I'd have done it at about the same time but OH has been in another part of the country with the CC (ie ENGLAND!) and din't get back until 10pm :(  I never got past the class and dog entered :(  each time it just froze and I got chucked off the site :(

Just checked the website and WKC is no longer available - obviously!

I was wondering why more and more shows were using Fosse Data, it's starting to make sense now :(

Higham still have the best results service and don't make so many printing errors.

This is one show we have a really good judge for wit our young bitch and really want to go there but parents out in Austria as Dad judging and I still not passed my driving test and boyfriend flying out to NZ...Guess it was never ment to be....

I spoke to secretary of welsh show yesterday as our judge has withdrawn and I wanted to know who replacement judge was before I entered, anyway he told me who new judge was and said if I had any problems getting online (as apparently a lot of folk had) just to post the entry.

Good news - Higham Press have extended on-line entries until 4th July 2007 - just been back on their site.
Going to enter right away and not leave it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As this is at least the third  Show they have had problems with, why are you all still leaving it until the last evening to enter:rolleyes: and then being cross that you can't get on?

I don't normally leave it that late and if OH hadn't been in another part of the country with the CC I'd have done it by 8am at the latest (or even the day before)  I have had trouble with entering shows on that site 3 weeks before the postal closing date ;) :(   but I didn't realise it was a regular thing :rolleyes:

But don't forget, if your attention is taken up with other things (puppies/dogs/other shows/life in general) the closing date can sneak up on you very quickly, especially as it's at least 2 months before you will be attending the show ;)

Quite agree with all that have never had any problems with the site before, but have now taken to entering day before as it is not worth the stress lol
