I have been informed that this has now been cancelled :(  as it was to take place at Usk Showground - which is flooded :( :(

Will it be transferred, as the rest of the SW show has been, to Newbury? (See the other thread)

No :( I'm told it has been cancelled completely :(   - Unless someone's trying to nobble us? ;)  but a friend who also had a dog entered has been told the same :( :(  Shame really, bet we won't get another chance :(

Suspect the show society have enough on their hands getting the main show organised though. Must be a nightmare.

That is true, my Friends bitch qualified and could have gone, but as she has recently been mated, she won't be able to go if it is rescheduled.

I was told they aren't rescheduling :(  it's cancelled not postponed :(    But they have enough to do reorganising the Ch Show so I can't really blame them, just hope they haven't lost any money on the catering.

According to the dog papers today the south wales dog of the year has been postponed and they hope to hold it later in the year :)

A friend has just phoned me to tell me :)

Looks like the WKC person who phoned me either got it wrong or maybe someone complained ??  or maybe they thought better of it??

anyway gave me something to smile about today :)

Maybe it was a case of someone wasn't fully in the know. 

But not to worry about it...

I'll need all the luck I can get LOL and it would help if all the judges liked my breed and type, and were personal friends (in my dreams LOL) :D :D :D  We'll go because we can and just enjoy the day and all the other lovely dogs too and if we do well then that's a huge bonus :D :D :D

At the moment the SW commitee are running around like headless chickens trying to get the show organised, it hasn't been easy for them and they are really struggling for helpers, as for some commuting from SW to Newbury every day isn't possible. 
They are hoping to hold it later in the year but are busy trying to make sure we have a show for now
