Since I have had my pup I have only fed her dog food. No particular reason for that - but i am not too sure what else is safe for her to eat. I know its a no to chocs, apart from doggie ones and no to grapes. What else can i feed her that is safe.

My lot love fresh tripe.. stinks but they love it.

Are mine the only dogs on this planet who wont eat fish of any sort??

I also have 2 cats who wont eat any fishy cat food OR sardines etc.
What are the odds of having dogs AND cats who dont like fish??? :o

Hi Frodo
Mine adore fish and they often have tinned sardines or pilchards with their cereal meal. They love raw fish too but it always, without fail, makes them throw up so I've stopped giving it.

My spoilt girlie gets a whole trout once a week as well as the odd salmon steak - she loves it! The eyeballs aren't very pleasant though (for me.) She absolutely adores the tinned types in tom sauce as well.

None of my dogs (past or present) will eat prawns, which is just as well given the price. All of them eat any other kind of fish, fresh or canned.

Tuna in oil is a definite "YES" in our house. The oil is good for the coat too..... :)

Lol prawns,i forgot about them little critters! I take back my statement of my dogs refusing ALL fish, they have a penchant for garlic prawns,i make it once every couple of weeks, costs a bloody fortune, and i start with a full plate of prawns but only get to eat half , my dogs get the other half

;)
They know hubby and kids wont give up a crumb so they leave them alone to enjoy and look at me with those "i'm so starving' looks
mine dont like fish, cats love it but the dogs will have a lick then wonder off.
As treats mine have raw bones chicken wings egg bread and butter scraps veggies fruit liver
biscuits cake if its around they get it
