Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Golden Retriever weight charts?

Anyone know where I can find a 'typical' weight chart for a golden.?
We have a 9 week old puppy and I would like to compare how his weight increases with the 'average' as he grows.

We have just changed his diet from the Pedigree he was on when we got him at 7 weeks to James Wellbeloved, apart from loving it, he seems to be much less 'manic' than a couple of days ago before the change over.

It might be expensive food but it's cheaper than having to buy valium for me !

Switching from Pedigree to JWB was a wise choice, at least you know what is in JWB which you do not with Pedigree.

Don't worry about weight, use your hand and eye to guage whether or not he is suitable weight.

Hi tohme,  I understood JWB was now owned by Pedigree?

And your point is...........?

Lots of companies are owned by others in order to have a wide business portfolio and corner ALL markets.............

Just making an observation tohme, seeing you were saying that switching from Pedigree to JWB was a wise choice.

Heinz make baked beans and ketchup - different products, different recipes.

Fair point (wish I'd never started this now! :))  It's just that I've just switched from JWB to Burns and this is one of the reasons why.

Hi Keithf,  Good luck with your puppy.  I have a goldie also who is now nearly 13 but still very active and enjoying life.

The above may help you, if you always make sure your dog has a waist you cannot go far wrong......
