at the moment Douglas (Charely). Is on what I think is a poor diet and want him to get off the Weetabix and Pedigree (I did say it was bad). Anyway, I know what Im going to feed him, naturediet and a good quality complete food. How long do you think it will take for me to change his diet completely. I know is a gradual process and shouldnt change it immediately, even tho the temptation is cut the crap and lets have some quality.

One day. You need to get off the crap asap. You will probably have no problems at all, we changed all our dogs from commercial to raw overnight without any stomach upsets.

Emma,
I'd do it gradually, bringing a new puppy home to a new environment can
be stressful to the pup - changing it's diet at the same time could also cause
stress and upset tums.
Do it over 5-7 days, also using natural live yoghurt (1 teaspoon) each meal to help with the changeover.

I've found Boxers normally do well on a wheat-gluten free complete diet.
Mine are currently fed JWB - But it's what ever suits Douglas the best.
I did try Burns but it didn't suit mine. Not all diets suit all dogs, I've found what suits mine by trial
and error :)
Best of Luck and happy shopping

Kindest Regards
Kirstine :)
