Hi Ian :)  By complete I guess you mean dry complete?  First thing is first though - you need to get the dog onto something he actually likes to eat ;)  As I'm sure you are aware there is an almost endless list of what is on offer but there are of course other considerations for you such as how your dog does on a particular food, availability, convenience, cost etc etc.  First of all what completes have you tried?  Have you attempted to feed Naturediet or Natures Menu?  Personally I feed raw - my dog loves it, really enjoys meal times and does very well on it - which is really what you are aiming for just depends which is gonna be best for your Bully :)

I dont know of many dogs who like complete over fresh foods, once they get a taste of the good stuff, why on earth would they want to go back to boring old dry pellets ;) Have you tried mixing the tripe or chicken in with the dry food? Maybe then he will eat it ALL up??

Have you tried naturediet? Most dogs cant resist it and it is complete.

Have you pandered to him, How long have you let him hold out for? If he refuses to eat his dry food do you promptly exchange it for something better?

I think its almost impossible to mix the 2 and keep him happy, if you want him to have dried then i would forget the raw altogether and he will eat it eventually, otherwise go full hog with the raw.
Hope that helps

Make it balanced then! Simple..

Chicken wings/carcasses, lamb ribs, rabbit carcasses, etc etc...

Blended veg (everything bar onions grapes i reckon although somethings are tastier than others)..

A raw egg sometimes, tinned sardines or pilchards, and offal other than tripe....

If you can deal with tripe or minced chicken, the rest of it isnt really a problem, though you MAY need to explain the whole 'you have to CHEW this' issue to the dog at first.
