I have a 7 month GSP, and we're not sure how many times a day we should feed him. We usually do a bowl of puppy-junior food with the left over rice crispies. We give him a little bit at lunch and then a bowl of food at dinner with a fwe scraps. Is this okay? I don't want him to get fat. Please reply. fee fee

That should be ok. It isn't how often they are fed that really matters. It's how much. My 15 week old puppy has cut herself down to 2 meals a day. I'm not happy about it, but she doesn't look starved. I'll just keep offering her a 3rd meal in case she wants it.

By 7 months mine are on only breakfast and supper as meals, with a bonio or similar at lunchtime.

Well, Seska proved me wrong last night ;) She ate her third meal just before bedtime. Just goes to show with dogs, you can't take them for granted :D
