Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / Pup Wetting Bed

My male pup is now 15 weeks and is kept in a pen at night, which he likes as he goes in there himself when he is tired.  Apart from a couple of accidents he is now house trained, but still has a problem with wetting his bed.  This doesn't happen every night and can also happen at other times as well.  Is it just that it will take slightly longer for him to get more control and hold it in, or does he now think it is acceptable to wet his bed?  He used to let us know during the night when he wanted out, but now he doesn't make any noise.  We never had this problem with our female when she was younger and had been told by different people that males are slower to learn.  Has anyone else had this problem or do you know if it will just take more time, as I know he is still young.  I just don't want him to pick up a bad habit.
