Hello

Would someone be able to recommend a good all round book on pet/beginners obedience and agility.
My daughter is retiring her 3yr old dog from the showring after crufts and would like to try basic obedience progressing into mini agility.
She will be attending beginners obedience class one evening per week and if she acheives the required standard in that there is a local group that do a 10 week course for basic agility.
Being a bit of a bookworm I thought to get her a book to help learn some of the basics.

Regards

Hi there-

Good for her!

A really basic one which I like is 'A beginners guide to Competitive obedience' by Wendy Beasley.  This is really simple, but gives you all you need to know to get started-also there's smashing photos so you can see exactly what it should look like.

Give it a go
Ali :)
