Every time I take my puppy outside to the bathroom, after she is done or in between the poo and pee she starts eating wood chops laying under the trees, or she would pick some little rocks and start licking them, or today for example she tried to eat dried leaves. At the beach she tried to eat some seaweed. Does this mean she needs some vitamins she is not g from food? Or it is just a play to get my attention? What is it anyways?

She is a baby and esxploring the world around her, and like a human baby will put everything in her mouth and try to eat it.  Most of the things will be harmless thankfully, but she could pick up something dangerous.

The muclch you speak of, if it is bark chippings then it is likely to be fairly sfe, but if it is made from Cocoa shell, this is to0xic to dogs.

Also it is best to sditract her from picking things up, rahter than trying to get them off her, as she willlearn to turn this into a game of catch me if you can.  If you really need to get something away from her, call her in a bright cheerful voice and offer her a treat that you keep on you, she iwll then forget and dtop the item, and you can give her the treat and get rid of the thing when she doesn't see.
