My Yorkie bitch who will be 2 ears old in May and is not neutered has been acting a little weird recently, its nothing much but I was just wondering about it....
She has always been the most vocal dog in the ENTIRE WORLD. she NEVER shuts up...well a little bit, anyway recently, she has been EVEN LOUDER...no i didn't think this was possiable...its not that she barks more...she does little groans as if shes 'talking' to me.
Aswell as that, she soometimes just bursts out with a bark....
One thing I forgot to mention is...as all the Chrismas decorations were brought down from the attic, a dancing singing santa was brought,
He is a small cuddely thing that sways from side to side and sings Jingle Bells...she absolutely loves this toy (even though its not hers) and whenever she sees it, since she knows how to turn him on, (by knocking his off the table or giving hima big bit) she keeps doing it, she knows shes not allowed o the table she doesn't do it but sometimes its just when she sees the santa she begins to groan and moan and abrk but not all the time........
I also dont know heater to get her to have 1 littter of pups because I have heard Yorkie litters suslally contain 2 and if it was 2 i'd be able to keeep them and I really love her and want to make her go on...
((i bet i know what ure gonna say to that last comment...
"If you loved her that much you woudn't make her have puppys"))
I dont know...aswell as that, she usually sleeps on my bed and recently she hasn't been...ive practically had to drag her up.
I have 4 cats aswell and 2 are sisters and one sister (Spook) had 3 kittens, one dying at birth, anyway, I kept them and now they need to be weaned so to stop them suckling form her, have brought her into my room and Milly (the dog) doesn't seem to mind, but I was wondering if she might not want Spook to be there so might besort of 'punishing' me in a way....
Just a thought..am probably being weird,...*again*
From me..Ciara (whoos thinking), Milly (whoos upset and loud), and Spook (whoos asleep and unwilling)

Re the barking - it may be worth getting her hearing checked by a vet - very often dogs who are deaf will bark because they can't hear their own voices (so to speak). If you want her to stop barking concentrate on praising and rewarding her for periods of quiet. She sounds like a smart cookie as she quickly learnt how to get the Santa to do what she wants ;)
Puppies - hummmmmmm - you already know what the majority are going to say - and Terriers are not well known for living peacably together - especially more than one bitch, and if you are talking about related animals the chances are even smaller :(
She's an adult now, and maybe she's just exerting her independance and choosing where she wants to sleep - she'd rather not sleep in the bedroom with those squaling kitties - is this really a problem if she behaves herself where she does sleep?

I really don't think she's deaf because whenever theres aknock on the door or a noise made she turns around and starts barking..
I didn't know terriers were well known for not living peacfully together ... :O
My aunt had loads of Yorkies, two had puppies together, one puppy she kept and the other she gave to her mother who lived about 5 minutes away (driving slowly) .
Her 3 dogs seemed to get on fine, though the mom sucked a soother, the dad was fine, and the daughter (the one she kept) was fine.
When my aunts mother died, her dog was mourning and given back to my aunt but he didn't get on with the other dogs and was completely devoted to his old owner so my aunt got him put down...
Does anyone think this was right or it was a mistake...?
