We had this too at the same age. If Poppy is well and your gifts are formed why not wash the stains out with bio washing powder and start taking her out after meals wehn she wakes from a sleep etc and stay out in the garden with her till she performs. Get a word for it and praise her when she does it. When we saw circling and back end dropping we directed him outside with OUT and the same when he soiled inside. Do you think she has had a fright outside or anything?

i really dont know why she has done this nothing i know off has scared her outside,i always let her out after food, sleep etc,if i see her sniffing the floor, circling etc i open the back door and say out,out she goes but not always to the loo,she has this really obsession with digging but thats a different topic.

Thats maybe it shes too busy to do anything else. My neighbour finds his lab is too busy playing to perform if he meets other dogs in the morning so he avoids us. How about keeping her on a lead until she does it in the garden and letting her off to play after? I know youre really busy with kids like me and it could be difficult, so maybe someone else will have a better idea. It is really frustrating though isnt it?

What time do you feed her at night? Is her last feed late on or early in the evening? The timing could play a part as her body may not have the time to 'perform' the necessary act during your waking hours. Would feeding her a little earlier be an option? It helped with my dogs. If they were fed after 7 o'clock they would leave little (well not so little!) parcels. I changed their feeding time to 6 o'clock and everything has been fine since. ;)

You say you put her out, but do you go outside with her? Thats the main thing in house training you your self must accompany the puppy outside and stand their until the puppy does her business. Use a word each and every time like go pee or hurry up and once she starts to go tell her good girl and praise/treat once done. Always take to the same place outside this also help in house training. Just putting her out doors on her own she does not understand what she is suppose to do because no body is teaching her. Then you can also keep her on a leash in doors and every where you go so does she, if you are unable to watch her kennel her. Take out after every meal, when she wakes up and after play and before bed. When you take her out and she doesn't go put her back in the kennel wait about 5 to 15 minutes and outside again. You may have to stand out there for 15 to 20 minutes. If you see any circling and sniffing straight outside. If you catch her in the act make a loud noise scoop her up and go outside don't make a big deal out of it just ignore, and don't let her see you clean it up...You can also feed her in her favorite area that she likes to mess in in the house. You can also keep her on leash when you take her out to do her business this way she can't go and play and gets down to business.

Good luck

ttfn :)

i always go out side with her what ever the hour, her last feed in the day time is 5pm,she has so much praise when she preforms ts unbelivable also she is given a treat, anyway during the night and this am she hasnt done it this so she has a massive fuss and a treat, she went soon as i opened the back door this morning and a fuss was made again, hopefully it was just one of those things as she is still young anyway.
