hi all my jrt crystal whos 19 months old is acting so odd,she is following me ever where, wants to sit on my lap and just generally wanting me all the time, this starting about 3/4 weeks ago,she plays with the other dogs and is normal in ever other way but im just wondering why she has started this, one other thing when i got her(nearlly 1 yr ago) she had been abused ie cig burns on head and body and generally not in great condition.she is the most plased, happy loving dog ever who loves eveyone, any advice would be great many thanks.

When was her last season? Sometimes bitches who are due in season, in season, pregnant or phantoming can get very clingy

her last season finished 2 weeks ago,she cant be pregnant(i do have an entact male tho but his only just 6 months yeaturday and has only just got his bits plus he was keep away from her just incase through the whole of her season) did think about a phantom has my sister dog used to have them all the time so the thought went through my mind, she has know change in her size, teats or appetite what so ever,i think i will take her to vets for a check to make sure alls well.

Hi, no expert but just a thought: has anything changed in her environment at all? My dog goes extremely clingy when something changes, even when we decorate or move furniture around! she just doesn't like change at all- insecure is the word for her!

i have rescued another bitch puppy a border collie called gypsy but this all started 2/3 weeks before this, nothing else has changed, she seems happy and normal apart from this.
