Can anyone recommend a vet in Higher Bebington area of Wirral (or thereabouts). Unhappy with our present one and would prefer to go on recommendation

Watching this thread with interest as I would like to change mine, too!

I don't know if Hoylake is too far for you, but the best vet ever is there - Rob McNulty at Hoylake Vets. I live in Leeds now but I still use him when it's practical to do so (my mum lives in Wallasey). He is excellent with animals and owners, is very up to date and is very sensible. He won't charge for unnecessary things and will tell you the absolute truth. I wish I could find another vet who is so good!

Josh who are you currently with?

Thanks CVL. A bit far but might be worth considering if we cannot find one closer

Bing Maps says Higher Bebington - Hoylake is 20 mins, surely worth it for a vet with such a good reputation?

Bing Maps may say that but its not :o)

I travel 2.5 hours to see him, so I think he's worth the travel. I suppose it depends on your transport etc though.

How far is it then, wouldn't have thought it would be much more (lived in West Kirby myself for a year but some time ago so not much help to you)?
