> liked the boxer. poodle is probably a lovely dog but just think they clips they give them make them look so ugly.
Snap Claire - I cant take them seriously looking like that!! Isn't the purpose of the clip like that to make them more streamlined in the water!?

I love the clip

Buoyant and to protect the joints from cold. Apparently :-)

I want to watch it on the proper TV........................the damned BBC its my money how can they choose not to show the one of about 4 things I watch in the year.........so darned irritating I have a freezing screen and having dial up its too slow for anything else I think....

Oh wow, didn't see that coming !! I really like that Sealyham though!

Brilliant! It was my vice versa result!

Me too, would be a dream to own any of them

didnt see that coming either! oh well, the entire line up was fab!

Mine too

I thought the sealyham's final turn was flawless, but I was still rooting for the equally flawless poodle.

so could not comment on it.. but delighted the poodle got RBIS...
Well done to both :-)

It's all over back to the daily grind I suppose :-(

Never been so frustrated!!! The little screen kept going blank, then coming back on a few seconds before it finished, like a nightmare continuous loop. Sound kept going in and out too! At one point I saw the boxer come into the ring 4 times, and never saw the OES move yet! Did manage to see the Sealyham and Donny pulled out, and hte laps of honour, so that is something I suppose. Still, not as bad as poor friends, who could not get it to play at all and had to put up wiht phone commentary form me, including many swear words each time it froze!!! Hope to heaven that it gets picked up by another TV company for next year.

I hope they can improve the webcast because I don't think any television coverage will be this comprehensive. At the group judging anyway.
> Shame the Boxer handler wasn't a bit smarter
that really annoyed me :( its a smart affair. one guy in group was in jeans!
I CARNT WAIT for next year :):):) i think this as been the best ever show this year and lets hope we get as good next year !!!!!!! :)
Astarte i saw 2 in jeans :( i was job smaked !!!!
> Me neither ... but it did move beautifully .....

not great handling and not great moods (yogi- he didn't look happy at all) did for the others i think.
the sealyham grew on me more in this than on thursday, he genuinely looked like he was having great fun.
> Astarte i saw 2 in jeans :-( i was job smaked !!!!
hmm, not appropriate to my mind.
im sure i did in 1 of the other groups ...i think i did lol lol lol its been a long 4 days my eyes are bleeding lol i havnt moved from laptop :)
The results were fair - Sealyham 1st and Poodle 2nd. Did like the boxer and Pharoah Hound though,.
Would have been easier to have watched it on telly if we could have!!!
Snowflake

I wondered about that, but decided no. I'd have been outvoted and the TV would have been showing Ice Road Truckers or the Hamster's Engineering programme. As it was the boys got to watch that (in the warm of the living room) while I watched crufts on the computer (in the chill of the back room). Everyone saw what they wanted. :-)

I was happy to watch online too, JG.
I really enjoyed following the running commentary on here while watching the judging...a bit like sitting ringside without leaving the sofa :-) That wouldn't have been so easy to do with TV coverage

I'd third vote for computer too.
With the agonising disruptions of freezing screens etc, it was still the best ever coverage of crufts for me.
Also having to share 'TV rights' with other family memebers it suited us all.
Karen :)
I was lucky as I was there Yogi was not behaving which is a shame as he is a gorgeous dog and I have watched him many times go BIS and he was a lot better. The boxer was sensational and the poodle didnt put a foot wrong. The Sealyham didnt do it for me but to be honest I dont know enough about them.
Got to agree with everyone else though that the dress code left a lot to be desired.
I thought the lady who got group 2 in pastoral looked brilliant as her jacket was picking up all the lights and she looked very blingy :)

I would have had money on it bring Donny as he so fab to watch.
Just shows how much i know.

Could`t agree more, but I have never seen Julie look anything other than she did then.
It is not as if she was completely taken be surprise be getting that place.. He wa one of a couple that MIGHT have taken the ticket.. so you would have thought she would try at least to make an effort.
Thought she let him down..(in her dress only) he looked fabulous, would have been nice for his handler to break her tradition and dress a little smarter.
Noticed also one of the Pastoral winners had jeans on (handler) but at least it looked like someone had lent him a jacket!!

i know what you mean the guy that won the open dog class in my breed was also in jeans and a shirt that looked like it was last ironed for crufts last year???
And he came all the way from Germany!!!!
