
I think we may differ a little on that point too, Christine :) I may use the internet to find out what something is and its purpose but I would not use it to find out if it was safe, too many wacky websites with axes to grind :) I am content to leave that to the Government. As food will be sold and taxes paid on it whether a particular chemical is used or not I don't see that there would be any incentive for them not to apply safe levels and as most have been around for many years I don't doubt the scientific evidence behind those levels.
