You're most welcome lol The Internet can be a huge help at times but also very frustrating as if it were say a friend phoning for help you could pop round and give hands on help. We know what you are going through, most of us have been there, done it and have the tee shirt!! We are all here to at least offer you virtual support.
i do wish there was a like button on here :)!!.
She is such a fighter isn't she! She looks fantastic and trying hard. I think she has a shot, she looks too determined to have otherwise. ;)
After posting on here this morning, and chatting to my breeder/mentor - I have my mojo back! ;)
I know there are many disabled dogs in the world, but this little girl is my responsibility - it's my time, my money, my heart. I'm not palming her off on anyone else so I certainly don't feel I am doing anything unethical. Whilst she still wants to fight, I will fight too. We may get two weeks, two months, two years or maybe even more.....but at least we will have tried, and I will always know that I did everything within my power to make her life a happy one. I may not succeed, but I must try - I owe her that, as the person who brought her into this world.
So, i'm going to have a quick snooze as I was up all night crying. My hubby is in the kitchen with my youngest daughter (and the pups) baking an amazing birthday cake for me (vets visit and birthday tomorrow). When I wake up I am going to scour the internet for success stories and anything at all that can help us with our journey - be it long or short. Anything useful that anyone knows of (web links etc) please do let me know.
And thank you all again - you are an amazingly supportive group - couldn't do this without your encouragement!
Di & Winny x
wishing winny all the love and luck in the world :) x

Yay way to go girl!! Thats the spirit, You and little winny will get through this and we'll all be here for you both.

Stay positive, she's really healthy looking apart from this and is also a fighter, you've got everything to work with.
Maybe a second opinion from a specialist vet would pinpoint the problem. It's a shame that the vet/s you've seen so far don't want to do an x-ray or scan :-( But don't give up yet.

really think you should get her x-rayed for your own piece of mind at least and i would want a support bandage just to keep her leg straight instead of bending under like it does to give her a chance it might just help her to get up

I've been watching the thread and I cannot claim to have a clue whats wrong but I would definitely be doing lots and lots of physio type exercises, supporting and allowing the leg to be much nearer the right place/position and encouraging the right movement (and even manipulating the correct movement).
Whilst this won't cure everything, you can encourage her to develop the correct 'muscle memory' for certain actions which on her own as she is, she is not going to develop (particularly as her body gets heavier and harder to support). I would speak to a massage expert though to make sure you are doing the right things.

I'll close this now as the OP has started a new thread.
