I took my pup to his and indeed my first Ringcraft class last night!

I normally do the training myself to show my dogs, but with this boy I want to make sure it is done properly!! As he looks to be a very promising lad.

It was great, I was a bit shocked at first as everyone just seemed to be doing their own thing, but then all the dogs had to get on the rubber matting and take turns walking in and out of the the dogs.
Then it was the stand and the walking part so that the judge could see the movement, us beginners had been told we did not have to join in yet if we did not want to, just watch, but I was so wanting a turn I got in the queue!!!
My pup did really well, he is only 14 weeks old (but one of the biggest in the class even though there was not many puppies! :D) He walked nicely, judge liked him very much, said he looked very promising!!
I do my own basic training, but thanks to the other posts advice on here, I will leave out the sit command!!
