I'm sorry to hear about your dog. We are going through the same thing at the moment wit our 7 year old spaniel, he has been in the vets on drips since Monday as he has an acute case. I am still investgating this myself and it appears to be a useful forum

The hardest part of owning a dog is making that final decision but it is the greatest kindness we can give them. Never an easy decision to make but I am sure you will know when that time arrives. Thinking of you.
