:D
Just heard there are some new hasbeens sorry celebs entering the camp today :)
Wonder who that will be

Maybe a comedy duo (matter of personal interpretation :D ) like last year maybe :)
Dean Gaffney, (Eastender Sonia's brother)
Mallandra (sp) Burroughs (Ex Emmerdale )
Don't think they will do much to liven it up though Dean I don't think has too much personality, (prove me wrong) Mallandra may get nicely bossy, she will be nice to look at, if DG and Faith Brown go it will be a pretty average bunch.

Two for the price of one on minimum requirements for brain cells :D

Jan gives whole new level of meaning to 'weed' and 'drip'! How pathetically feeble and ineffectual she was. Wotshisname the designer was no better. I suspect the GBP have targetted their victims!

Oooh I missed it last night because we had a meeting! I was so looking forward to watching Scott do that task. Was he really girly and feeble?
What have they got to do tonight?
By LJS
Date 16.11.06 13:49 UTC

Certainly had his handbag on the floor whilst he strutted his stuff, well shuffled and paddled his hands about :D
It is on a high wire tonight one on a bike type thing and the other below doing something but can't remember what :)

Yes! :p :p

A & D didn't hold back on the distain for his whoosie attempts did they :D

Jan Leeming - What a defeatist? The only reason she wanted a male on the task was so that she act the feeble little woman and get them to do all the work for her. I felt really sorry for Phina having that moaning minnie on her task.
Scott - Really tried his very best

I wonder how many of his colleagues in his real life have heard that and didn't realise what he really meant.
Looking forward to tonight as neither are team players. Jan will likely moan about the task which will give Scott plenty to bitch about when he gets back.

I can usually pride myself on my knowledge of z-list 'celebs', thanks to a subscription to Heat magazine (one of my 'guilty pleasures') but Phina has me stumped. In the words of another z-lister '
who is she?' Please? Anyone?

I've just switched on expecting to see it at 9pm!!
Do they repeat it at another time or on ITV2??? Please???? :D

Thanks Carla :) Bizarrely, given my love of all things trashy, I don't watch Footballers Wives :D

Now he could rival Carol thatcher. GOOD on him. 9 stars out of 11, and the 2 he didnt get he couldnt find in the time limit :)
If he carries on the performance he should win :D

Soryy
Dean Gaffney :D :D :D
Not the best looking bloke but by god he has GUTS!!!! although we did neartly see them every time he did a task!!!! LOL
Lea :)

Dean Gaffney ex Eastenders. Was retching and gagging through most of the task and before he started he was in danger of passing out through hyperventilating. What a trooper though? Think he is going to be a sweetie.

He was
very funny, but
very impressive! He looked so shell-shocked at the beginning, and his bottom lip quivered when he realised what he was going to have to do! :D :D But what a hero!
Edit: Not to forget that he was doing all that at 8.30 in the
morning!! Breakfast would barely be settled ...
By LJS
Date 17.11.06 13:01 UTC

Barely settled and out again four times before he even started

:D :D
I thought his wretching was particularly funny

:D :D
He did very well though

I only caught the end but my impression was a very hysterical bloke, another girls blouse and a bit of a cheat when he put his hands in that bowl. I gather that was not allowed. But as I saw so little and everyone else thought differently I realise I need to keep an open mind and see how he shapes up :)

ha ha ha @ isabel. I dont calll a uy that diid all of those tasks a BGB!!!!!!!! LOL
cockroaches, rats, green ants that bite, and bt the looks of it THEY BITE!!!!!! the ones he didnt get were not because he didnt TRY!!!!!
Godd on him, he was nearly passing out with fear but he did every single task!!!!

I didn't see it all and like you say he did it, but, compared to say DG

, he did seem to make rather more "fuss". I was a little worried for the alligators as were, it seemed, A & D. I actually think I could have gone in with them myself with no great fuss, logic being, they would not let people go in if there was any real risk of injury and I know the forest rats of Oz are not at all aggresive and how many of
us are frightened of puppy bites anyway ;)
We have all got our fears I suppose. I'm not bad with bugs and critters, I have slept in outdoor hammocks alongside the Orinoco river but could not do the high wires or go down a pot hole

No way!
if you look closely you can see the crocodiles have their mouths taped shut!
By Isabel
Date 16.11.06 23:29 UTC

I guess he wasn't pausing to look closely :)

Was Jan Leeming a woose again doing the trial?

Surprisingly, no. She and wotshisname did pretty well, certainly better than me at heights! :o
By Isabel

I would have totally bottled and was quite surprised at how they coped and had pretty decent balance unless it was easier than it looked!
Dean Gaffneys challenge was the funniest thing I have seen in ages. I was crying with laughing and set my asthma off! His facial expressions were so funny, bless him. Hats off to him though - what a trooper.

Poor Dean :D :D Good TV though lol
Mind you, they said at the start NO Time Limit ...then they kept pressing him to finish in a few seconds which I found very unfair ....we really thought he was going to hyperventilate LOL I wonder who had the brown paper bag ready?
Excellent show!

Oh Dean .....that really was very entertaining, now I might bother to watch it again!
If it was all like that they would have a winner! :-D

Date 17.11.06 09:59 UTC
I just about wet my pants laughing at him last night. Absolutely hilarious and what a trooper to keep going like that. He was SO funny!
Even funnier is watching the reactions of Ant & Dec. ITV seem to have got it spot on this morning.
Lauren Booth - OUT!!!

Lauren AND Jan out ..they are both dreadful!
By Carla
Date 17.11.06 10:21 UTC
Did you hear Lauren and the rapping??! She likes to go to Hip Clop Clubs? I could have crawled away and died with embarassement at hearing it. She is just appalling.

I tried REALLY hard to NOT hear Lauren and her rapping it has to be said ....
*dies of shame*
:p :p

Lol, Lauren and her 'rapping' was certainly cringe worthy!
Thought I'd hate DG, but I find myself watching him, and actually enjoying it.
Jan, well, please, somebody give her a slap - I heard this evening that she's been married 5 times, does anybody know if that's true?

cannot wait for to nights trail jan with snakes,
bet she gos back crying again she be the first to be voted off
Yes I believe Jan has been married 4 or 5 times

Poor chaps!!
Only one thing to say about Malandra.......that laugh is sooooo annoying!
By Soli
Date 19.11.06 08:29 UTC

I watched bits of this program for the first time the other night while it was on at work. I have to say I was disgusted. Those poor animals!! How anyone who loves animals can sit and watch it let alone think it's funny when there's people kicking and shoving rats about and terrifying little crocs in a pool whilst thrashing about is beyond me. Can't they do something else other than abuse live animals for entertainment?
Debs
Yes Alfredo.....Malandra's laugh is soooo irritating. I am just hoping that it is a nervous laugh and that she will stop doing it or she'll be the first one out I should think!! I am changing my mind about DG though, I am surprised to find that I am getting to quite like him!! Jason is just lovely! They do say Debs, that "no animal is hurt" during the trials (Except the ones that are eaten, I should think!! :) )
By Soli

They do say Debs, that "no animal is hurt" during the trialsThey might not be hurt physically but if someone did that to my animals I'd go spare! It's the trauma they must go through that got me.
