Just wanted to say Anna that you don't only find snooty butchers in London - I asked a local butcher about supplying meat, bones etc for my dogs and got a very snotty look and the comment 'I leave that to the pet shops' :(   And there was silly me thinking he actually wanted to sell his meat. :D

snap annies ,
my local butcher was gobsmacked when I was asking for different meats and bones etc for the dog infact he was that rude that I have never stepped foot back in the shop! have gone to our local town and found him to be a breath of fresh air in comparison....

Try farmers that sell direct or Farmer/butchers like mine they have a different outlook IMHE

Anna27....  Are you absolutely convinced about the results of the allergy test?  I only ask as my dog was tested not long ago and was supposedly allergic to beef, lamb, chicken, white fish and gluten - very similar to your results. Since feeding her raw I can safely give her all of these meats with no ill effects. Of course all dogs are different and I would not wish to cause a problem for you but is it worth examining other possible causes of your dog's skin irritation?   Regards, Karen

She is allergic to other enviromental things as well. Hence why I said it is worse in summer
The enviromental things she is allergic to include
Grass
Dandielions
House dust mites
Storage mites
And more witch I can't remember.
The only reason We got the test done was because we want to give her the best chance of being less itchy.
I think we will cut out the meats she is allergic to and see what happens. Then hopefully once her body has had time to rest I can add them in and see what happens.

I know people have said their dogs are good on raw it just seems since feeding her these in their pure form she has become much itchier - tho it has also been very hot aswell.

We have had so many tests on her to find the cause of all of her itchyness and nothing comes up except her allergies.
I am usually not too worried about her itchiness apart forom how uncomfortable it must be but in the last 3 days she has scratched her face and made some woundes. One is very near her eye and I am a bit worried about if she catches her eye by mistake.
Thanks for your comments. As i say I will see how it goes. I just thought it would be better to get rid of the offenders and see what happens and then try and introduce them. This will give me a goodd indication of how much they affect her.

Thanks again. Always good to hear of other poeples experiences.
Glad to hear you dog does well on her food now. Hopefully mine will be the same
Thanks again
Anna

How really awful for your dog ..... I didn't appreciate how bad her skin was - the wounds sound dreadful and it must be so upsetting for you to see her suffer like this. I think you are absolutely right to be cautious with any change to her diet, particularly if you have seen a deterioration lately. I do hope that things improve for you both and that some solution to her problem is just around the corner.  Do let us know how she goes ......  Very best wishes, Karen
